Hi! I’m Ann – welcome to my blog!
I have been quilting for nearly 20 years – doing piecing, applique, and FMQ on my domestic Bernina machine. I also enjoy dying fabric to use in my quilts. Over the past year I’ve been following more quilting blogs and social media groups and realized there was so much more for me to learn.
I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband and 5 furry kids. My blog is named after my dog, Leo, and his awesome brown spotted paws. I also have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Maggie who has her own Instagram and Facebook pages. I started her pages about a year ago and have enjoyed it so much I thought it would be fun to get more involved in the online quilting community.

Bucky, who really doesn’t like thunderstorms (I am also a bit of a University of Wisconsin fan)
I’m starting this blog for a few reasons:
1. To motivate me to spend more time quilting and being creative.
2. To improve my skills, particularly my FMQ.
3. To meet, learn from, and be inspired by more people in the quilting community.
I tried some painting last year – if I can be brave enough to try that, I can try new things with my quilting! This is a fairly poor representation of Maggie.
Please follow my blog and let me know what you are working on!
