I made a couple of chicken quilts earlier this year with my online bee group.  They all sent me blocks and I assembled them together in to quilts to be donated.  My friend, Peg, saw those quilts and offered to purchase one from me.  I didn’t feel like I could sell those to her as the blocks had been given to me, but I offered to make her a new chicken quilt.

This is the next generation of the Chicken Quilt.  It is similar in style and fabrics to the first two:

I tried out a new pantograph called Turbulence, which is all swirly.  I like it a lot.  I also used a black and white striped binding again which I think is perfect for this quilt.

I found this when we were at Missouri Star Quilt Company at the end of October and I think it is perfect.  Peg said it looked like chicken feed!

I think it all came together really well.

Yet again, Maggie was not in the mood for taking photos, but she still looks really pretty!

• So Fine#50, color #503 (light grey) on both the top and bobbin
• Pantograph is Turbulence from Urban Elements
• 70,208 total quilting stitches.
